I was fortunate enough getting to see Peter in 2015 headline the Ohio State Fair
with Cheap Trick. I recorded that show and still go back to it quite often. I knew
he was doing his farewell dates here in the States back in 2019, but for one reason
or another, I did not make one. When he announced his "Never Say Never" tour
earlier this year, I was flabbergasted at the chance to get to see him again. I
made sure not to miss the presale and got my preferred seats (for sound) at the
Rose. Section 103 is elevated above the orchestra pit for a perfect view of the
stage and if you pick seats 1-5, you are just about in line with the PA. I love
watching (and taping!) shows from there! This one turned out pretty good, I did
remove some whoo's and unnecessary clapping when needed in RX7. Not much EQ was
done, they really had Peter dialed in that night. He ended the show asking us
to hope for a "Never Say Never Pt. 2", so you just never know... If this was in
fact, the final time I get to see him, Im forever grateful. He was diagosed with
Inclusion-Body Myositis in 2015 and 8 years on, hes still giving us 2+ hours of
brillance! He's one of the best! Please turn this one up and share!
